Radio Maliboom Boom Concert Interviews Ciara
What could be more summer-licious than sipping fruity Malibu Rum drinks while grooving poolside to the Grammy-winning sounds of R&B princess Ciara, with DJ Skribble providing the party soundtrack in between? That's right - nothing! Head to Finnegan's on the River (401 SW 3rd Ave., Miami) Saturday night (July 16) in Miami from 8 p.m. to midnight to get your flip-flop on with the kick-off of Malibu’s Radio Maliboom Boom Station Invasion. Ciara - who's sure to perform hits including "1, 2 Step," "Oh" and "Goodies" - talked to Miami.com about the tour and its signature drink.
So you're heading down to Miami to kick off your tour. What do you think of the city?
Oh god, I love Miami, and it's so funny because I always used to dread having to travel to Miami, because it seems to be so much farther than everywhere else. And now it's the place that I, like, can't wait to go to. And so I'm ready to go and vibe with my fans - I haven't performed there in so long, so that's gonna be really fun. And with a tour like this, it's really sexy, so I'm just looking forward to having another great Miami experience.

Beyonce loses voice on TV special
R&B superstar Beyonce was forced to cut short a special TV concert taping on Thursday after she began losing her voice.
The singer began filming A Night With Beyonce at a London studio on Wednesday, belting out hits such as Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable and Halo, as well as songs from her latest album 4.
She shot the second half of the hour-long show for U.K. network ITV on Thursday, performing new tracks including 1+1, Party and Run The World (Girls).
But she had to call time on the set after struggling to maintain her powerful voice towards the end of the gig, blaming her lack of rest, and apologised to fans in the audience for making Countdown her last song of the night.
Sources tell WENN she then enlisted the help of her devotees to sing the chorus, before exiting the stage to rousing applause and cheers.
Earlier in the day, Beyonce treated her waiting fans to free pizza to show her appreciation for their support. Attendees began lining up outside the studio doors hours before showtime to ensure they got prime seats for the intimate show.
A Night With Beyonce is due to air in the U.K. later this year.

New Music: Kelly Clarkson - "Dark Side"
…And the leak keeps going. After 4 leaks last week, another Kelly Clarkson song has made its way to the public. The track “Dark Side” is a slow building track with heavy drums, twinkling plinks, and a building chorus. Reminiscent of a dancier version of “Never Again”. Really good. This album is shaping up to be her best from the leaks we have been getting.

Weird Al endures hard times, musically speaking
Since 1983, "Weird Al" Yankovic has released 13 albums, with six of them going platinum and four reaching gold status. It's a pretty good batting average for any artist, and an especially great one for a comedian-musician.

Pauly D to Join Britney Spears on Tour
After much teasing, Jersey Shore's resident beat-beating, spiky-haired, house music-pumping DJ has finally secured a spot on Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Tour. Pauly D opened for Britney one night at the Palms in Las Vegas to celebrate his DJ-in-residency gig with the resort and casino, but signing on for the whole tour fell through when Britney chose Nicki Minaj as her opening act.
Now, Pauly has officially signed on to open for the pop princess for at least four of her North American tour dates. You can catch Pauly spinning August 17 in Grand Rapids, MI; August 19 in Pittsburgh, PA; August 20 in Columbus, OH; and August 22 in Indianapolis, IN.
No opener has been confirmed for Britney's last two tour stops in North Carolina, but rumors are swirling that Pauly may snag those dates as well after shooting of Season 5 wraps. We’re crossing our fingers that Pauly sweeps Britney off her feet and wifes her up — she could use a stand-up guy like him!

Adele's '21' Hits 1 Million Downloads, 'Rolling' is 2011's Best-Selling Song
Just a week after Eminem's "Recovery" became the first album to sell 1 million digital downloads in the U.S., now Adele's "21" has hit the milestone, according to Nielsen SoundScan. And, "21" goes further -- as it surpasses "Recovery's" digital tally.
"21," which was released on Feb. 22, becomes the U.S.' second million-selling digital album, the fastest set to do so, and the first by a woman to achieve the feat. With another 25,000 downloads sold of "21," its digital sales now stand at 1,017,000 while "Recovery's" download tally is 1,005,000.
"21" continues to reign as the year's best selling album overall, too, with 2.6 million copies sold in the U.S. It has spent 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has yet to see a week where it has ranked lower than No. 3.
Its first single, "Rolling in the Deep," crowned the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks earlier this year. Adding to its accolades, this week it became the year's best selling digital song, with 4.23 million sold. Katy Perry's "E.T." (featuring Kanye West) was previously the year's highest-selling song, and now falls to the No. 2 position, with 4.19 million sold.
Adele recently announced a series of rescheduled tour dates after she had to postpone them due to illness. The slate of shows begin on Aug. 9 in Vancouver, and includes newly added gigs in San Diego, Las Vegas and Miami, among other locales.

Cheryl Cole Recording New Album In Los Angeles
Cheryl Cole has reportedly started recording her new album in Los Angeles.
Following her sacking from The X Factor USA and her rumoured reunion with ex-hubby Ashley Cole, we almost forgot that Chezza was a full-fledged popstar, and now according to The Sun, the 28-year old is back in the studio Stateside.
The Girls Aloud beauty has apparently been laying down vocals at LA's famous studios underneath the Sunset Marquis hotel, where the likes of Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Cyndi Lauper and Chaka Khan have previously recorded material.
A source told the tabloid: "Cheryl has loved working at the studios. Some of the female singers that have worked there before are her all-time heroes. It's been the perfect place for Cheryl to plunge head-first back into work again."

Milli Vanilli singer plots comeback – using his real voice
One half of Milli Vanilli is plotting a comeback, and this time he plans to use his real voice. Fab Morvan – better known as Vanilli – is working with TiĂ«sto and Eminem's tour DJ, the Alchemist, on his first solo album since 2003.
It was the Alchemist who confirmed Morvan's return in an interview with celebrity news website TMZ. "I'm working on a joint with Vanilli," said the DJ, who has produced tracks for Lil Wayne, Curren$y and Raekwon. "[He's] making a comeback." The Alchemist insisted this time there would be no lip-syncing: "Real shit," he said, "dude."
Speaking to the New York Daily News, a representative for the singer also revealed that Morvan had finished a song with trance legend Tiësto. "Whatever you read in the press is one thing, but you can be sure I'm coming with new music," Morvan wrote on Twitter. "By the way I never left."
While Milli Vanilli had worldwide hits in the late-80s, songs such as Girl You Know It's True and Girl I'm Gonna Miss You became infamous after Morvan and Rob Pilatus, aka Milli, were revealed as lip-syncing fronts. Their label dropped them, fans sued them, and the Grammys revoked their best new artist prize. Platus and Morvan tried to soldier on, releasing two more records, but it ended in tragedy: Pilatus was found dead at the age of 32 from a suspected alcohol and prescription pill overdose in a Frankfurt hotel room in 1998.
Morvan's last solo album, 2003's Love Revolution, was self-released. It featured the song It's Your Life, which Morvan described as a tribute to his former bandmate.

Ciara To Rejoin L.A. Reid At Epic With Usher, Mariah Carey And Jennifer Lopez?
'X Factor USA' judge Antonio 'L.A.' Reid has started his new job as head of Epic Label Group and is now looking to resign some of his most successful stars including Ciara, Usher, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez.
It's likely that Ciara will be the first star to join him, as she is currently looking for a new label after leaving Jive Records earlier this year after the poor performance of her latest album 'Basic Instinct'.
Usher is also a target for L.A. Reid, who discovered him at young age, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Mariah Carey could be coaxed from Island Def Jam to sign with the 55-year-old's Sony venture, as she released her album 'The Emancipation of Mimi' with Reid but her music career has suffered a number of setbacks in recent times.
Lopez is also a target, particularly after the success of her recent comeback album 'Love?' and her number one single 'On The Floor'.
