Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' Release Pushed to August
Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" release date has been pushed back again, a source confirms to Billboard.com. The highly anticipated set will now hit stores on Aug. 29, over two months after its last announced release date of June 21.
"Tha Carter IV's" arrival has been rescheduled multiple times: Lil Wayne eyed a spring release at the beginning of the year, and in March, he announced that "Tha Carter IV" drop on May 16. Three singles have already been released from the set, with the last one, the slow jam "How To Love," hitting the web last Thursday. The track debuts at No. 60 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs this week, while previous singles "6 Foot 7 Foot" and "John" peaked at Nos. 2 and 19, respectively.
"Tha Carter IV" will be Wayne's first album since his release from prison last November. "I Am Not a Human Being," which dropped just before his release, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 887,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Lil Wayne will join Drake, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and many more at Hot 97's Summer Jam on Sunday (June 5), and will continue his I Am Still Music tour with Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Lloyd and Far*East Movement beginning July 13. "The Carter IV" will also be previewed when MTV airs Lil Wayne's "Unplugged" performance on June 12.

Christina Aguilera and Adam Lambert Duet Rumors Not True?
Rumors started circulating two days ago that Christina Aguilera and Adam Lambert recorded a new single together for one of their albums after Tampa Bay radio station 93.7 FLZ said as much in a tweet. Unfortunately for fans of both singers, the rumor appears to be false.
According to Australian pop star Sia, a friend of the two, the singers currently have no plans for a duet. She said in a tweet: “Adam just texted me. Def no collab with xtina planned, although he said he would love to.”
The news undoubtedly comes as a disappointment for fans looking forward to the collaboration, but maybe it’ll be of at least some consolation that Adam Lambert is at the least interested in doing it. At least there’s some hope for it happening eventually, right?

Adele cancels North American tour
Adele has been forced to cancel the remaining 9 dates of her sold-out North American tour due to ongoing illness. Adele recently postponed 5 shows under doctor’s orders when she was diagnosed with laryngitis. While resting in Los Angeles, Adele met with an Otolaryngology specialist who determined it was imperative that she take the next few weeks to recover with absolute voice rest.
Adele, renowned for her powerful live vocal performances, was intent on resuming her tour on June 4th in San Francisco, CA before learning of her advanced condition.
“I’m really frustrated. I was hoping with a weeks rest I’d be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctors advice and rest some more. I’m so sorry. See you soon, love Adele”
Plans to reschedule these cancelled tour dates are being investigated; more information will be provided when available.
