Bruno Mars Holds at No. 1 on Hot 100, Taylor Swift Sets Debut Record

Bruno Mars remains at No. 1 for a fourth week on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Just the Way You Are," aided by a surge to the top (2-1) on Radio Songs (139.5 million listener impressions, up 9%).

"Just the Way You Are," which led Hot Digital Songs for two non-consecutive weeks over the past month, shifts 180,000 downloads (up 1%), though it falls 2-3 on the sales tally. The song has moved 1.697 million units since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Mars also debuts at No. 82 on the Hot 100 with "The Lazy Song," from his top 10 debuting album, "Doo-Wops & Hooligans."

Making a splash into the top 10 is Taylor Swift, who opens at No. 8 with "Speak Now," the title track from her upcoming Oct. 25 album release. Swift's arrival gives her the mark for most top 10 debuts in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, as "Speak Now" is her sixth title to enter the chart's top tier. That total surpasses the five top 10 entries earned by Mariah Carey from 1995-98. Swift's first top 10 debut was with "Change," in August 2008.

"Speak Now" shifts 217,000 to open at No. 2 on Hot Digital Songs, down from the 325,000 moved for lead-off radio track, "Mine," in August. The iTunes digital countdown to "Speak Now" will result in two more tracks impacting the chart the next two weeks, with "Back to December" on deck.

Far*East Movement remains at No. 2 on the Hot 100 with "Like A G6" and at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs (221,000, up 2%). Moving up a slot to No. 3 is Nelly's "Just a Dream," which swaps spots with Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."

"DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love," by Usher featuring Pitbull, holds at No. 5, while Rihanna's "Only Girl (In The World)" whips 8-6 as the Airplay Gainer (80.7 million listener impressions, up 25%). Falling 6-7 is Taio Cruz's "Dynamite."

Closing out the top 10 are "Club Can't Handle Me" by Flo Rida featuring David Guetta (10-9) and "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem featuring Rihanna (7-10).

Kanye West claims his third-best Hot 100 debut as a lead artist, as "Runaway" opens at No. 12. Only "Heartless" (No. 2) and "Love Lockdown" have had better starts. "Runaway's" placement is owed to a No. 4 start on Digital Songs (174,000). It is West's best sales week since "Heartless" shifted 211,000 in January 2009.

The Band Perry's "If I Die Young" surges up the Hot 100 (45-27) to a new peak position as the Digital Gainer (up 60% to 50,000), with its best single-week sales sum yet. The trio's self-titled album is set to debut next week.

After setting a one-week high of six debuts a week ago, the "Glee" cast ups that count by one with seven new entries this week, led by their cover of the Beatles' first No. 1 Hot 100 hit from 1964, "I Want to Hold Your Hand.," at No. 36. The song sells 69,000 downloads to open at No. 15 on Digital Songs.

P!nk toasts another debut with "Raise Your Glass" at No. 51. The track introduces "Greatest Hits…So Far!!!," due Nov. 16, and starts strong simultaneously at radio (No. 42 debut on Radio Songs with 26.7 million listener impressions) and at retail (No. 59 on Digital Songs, 26,000).

Other notable debuts include A Rocket to the Moon's "Like We Use To" at No. 91, "Stereo Love" by Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina at No. 93, David Guetta and Kid Cudi's "Memories" at No. 94 and "Loca" by Shakira at No. 98. The latter song was recorded in both Spanish and English with El Cata providing featured vocals on the former and Dizzee Rascal on the latter.

On the reason why she chose to donate the dress, the Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place" labeled the dress "beautiful". She further explained to People magazine, "It was obviously a very important part of the video - we wanted it to be vey beautiful and very flowy and I got so many great comments on it so I thought it would be awesome to give it to charity."

Rihanna Wants To Work With Beautiful Cheryl Cole

Rihanna has hinted that she would like to work with the woman she has called “the most beautiful woman I have ever seen”, Cheryl Cole.

In an interview with Galaxy FM yesterday she was asked by interviewer James Barr whether she would like to work with Cheryl and Rihanna said yes! “Absolutely, she is awesome, I think she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, it sucks,” Rihanna replied.

“She IS the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, like how do you have a face like that, with hair like that and dimples, and a body like that, that’s proportioned like that. And you have a successful career, something about that is not right.”
