Justin Bieber Enlists Drake, Kanye West for New Album ‘Believe’
Justin Bieber’s love for hip-hop is extending to his next album. The teen sensation has called on two of hip-hop’s biggest stars for Believe, the follow-up to his 2010 album My World 2.0.
In an interview with Capital FM, Bieber announced that Kanye West and Drake are among the contributors to the album, due in early 2012. “I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists,” he said.
Kanye expressed interest after collaborating with the pop star on the Raekwon-assisted remix to “Runaway Love,” while Drake has remained close with his fellow Canadian, who remixed his song “Trust Issues.”
Usher’s protégé has also been in the studio with hitmakers including Bangladesh, Kevin Cossom, and Danja. “What I’m creating for him I think is definitely a more mature sound. That’s where he’s headed now,” Danja previously told Rap-Up.com.
On November 1, Bieber will drop his Christmas album Under the Mistletoe featuring Mariah Carey, Usher, Busta Rhymes, Boyz II Men, and Chris Brown, who penned the sexy “Christmas Eve.”
