Nicki Minaj Breaks Female Rapper Record With "Super Bass"

In what will be sure to rattle the cages of many of her naysayers, Nicki Minaj has once again surpassed the achievements of female rappers everywhere on the Billboard Hot 100.

This time with her single "Super Bass".

This weeks #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Super Bass" is the highest charting single to be released by a female Rapper in the last nine years since Missy Elliot’s "Work It" reached #2 in 2002.

This comes as phenomenal news for the entertainer’s fans as the single has achieved this feat without the aid of a featured artist, highlighting Minaj’s ever growing star power.

Now certified double platinum, "Bass" has sold more units that any single released by Rap Queen Lil Kim whose feud with the Pop star was overshadowed by the success of Minaj’s #1 album ‘Pink Friday’ which has sold over 1.5 million copies since its release in November 2010.

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green Set to Perform at Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

Finally! It's been about two weeks since it was first announced that a Michael Jackson tribute concert was in store for the people of Cardiff, Wales, but we hadn't heard who would be performing.

Until now, that is. E! News confirms that The Voice stars Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will be participating in this sure-to-be memorable event along with a couple of others...

Although it'd be super cute if Blake Shelton and Adam Levine also joined in so we'd have the whole NBC series involved, they're not—at least not yet anyway.

Two other artists that will be taking part in Michael Forever—The Tribute Concert on Oct. 8 are Leona Lewis and the band Alien Ant Farm (might sound odd at first, but remember, they did a cover of "Smooth Criminal").

No other announcements have been made, but what do you think so far? Who else would you want to see or expect to participate?

Kylie Minogue planning "anti-tour" for superfans

Pop star Kylie Minogue is currently working on an "anti-tour" idea where she'll only perform rare tracks in a non-flashy venues.

After touring the world with her massive Aphrodite Live show, the 43-year-old Minogue is now keen to play a handful of concerts for her most devoted fans, the Daily Express reported.

"I really like the idea of an anti-tour. The opposite of this (Aphrodite Live). I don't think I can get bigger than this production."

"It would be really great to do tiny, intimate shows; no dancing, no lights, there's nothing flash about it. (I'd be) performing songs that would never ever, ever have a hope in hell of being in a show like this."

"(It would be) only fan-known B-sides or songs that I've just done once," Minogue said.
