12:25 pm - 02/20/2012 Michael Jackson estate considering ‘Bad 25′ and brand new album in 2012

Weitzman says that in addition to the Cirque show, the Michael Jackson estate is contemplating several other projects. The 25th anniversary of the Bad album in 2012 may be commemorated with a special package similar to 2008′s Thriller 25, while another set of unreleased material to follow 2010′s Michael collection is also being considered. “It’s a pretty vibrant estate in the sense that it continues to generate not just catalog opportunities but plenty of other ideas,” Weitzman says.

As for the tribute concert, which is slated to feature performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green, Weitzman says the estate is “kind of watching it like everybody else. They’ve never really had any discussions with us, so we’re just watching it all go by.”

Xtina Announces New Single's Title

Christina Aguilera is plotting a massive comeback in 2012 and she’s just confirmed what her new single will be called!

Let the X-Tina comeback begin! Christina Aguilera will be releasing her 5th album in 2012 with a new single dropping next month!

While the album is still untitled, we now know the first single will be called “Love Your Body.” That’s the clean, radio edit name. In typical X-Tina Dirrty fashion, the actual title does not include the word “Love” if you know what I mean.

This times out perfectly as her show, The Voice, also is making its return with the new season early next year. You KNOW she’ll be performing this on the show. It worked for Maroon 5‘s Moves Like Jagger, I’m sure Christina is hoping for the same result for her new song.

Coming off a call with King Joe Riccitelli from the RCA Promotions Department earlier this week, there’s been much speculation - and noise - about what Christina Aguilera’s future plans might be. Here’s what we know from talking with our sources.

Christina Aguilera is working on perfecting her voice for new album

Christina Aguilera’s latest single “Moves Like Jagger” is number 14 in Chicago this week and number one in the nation. Fans who are looking forward to new Christina Aguilera music need to be patient; Christina is working on making her almost-perfect voice even more perfect. She is working with acclaimed voice coach Seth Riggs.

This column is told that on her next album, you won’t hear Christina over-sing in the way that she has been criticized on her previous albums. She will also hit higher and lower notes. William Orbit is still on board for the album, though they haven’t worked in the studio together yet; William is finishing up Madonna’s next album.

Katy Perry matches Michael Jackson record

Katy Perry becomes the first woman, and second artist overall following Michael Jackson, in the 53-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 to send five songs from an album to No. 1, as "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" becomes the fifth chart leader from her Capitol Records set "Teenage Dream."

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green Set to Perform at Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

Finally! It's been about two weeks since it was first announced that a Michael Jackson tribute concert was in store for the people of Cardiff, Wales, but we hadn't heard who would be performing.

Until now, that is. E! News confirms that The Voice stars Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will be participating in this sure-to-be memorable event along with a couple of others...

Although it'd be super cute if Blake Shelton and Adam Levine also joined in so we'd have the whole NBC series involved, they're not—at least not yet anyway.

Two other artists that will be taking part in Michael Forever—The Tribute Concert on Oct. 8 are Leona Lewis and the band Alien Ant Farm (might sound odd at first, but remember, they did a cover of "Smooth Criminal").

No other announcements have been made, but what do you think so far? Who else would you want to see or expect to participate?

Talay Riley Talks New Christina Album

SUPERSTAR songbird Christina Aguilera is plotting a new album and wants a touch of British magic.

The 30-year-old, who has been focusing on her role as a judge on US talent show The Voice, is planning a comeback based on Adele’s record-breaking 21 collection.London singer-songwriter Talay Riley has penned Xtina a couple of tunes to fit the bill.

Talay told me: “Christina gave us a personal brief. It was like a letter saying what she wanted to achieve with her next album.

“She wants this album to be the one which touches people and reflects all the personal experiences she’s been through in the last few years, like motherhood and divorce. “Basically she wants songs that are as big as Beautiful.

“Christina wants to make another Stripped and sees Adele as her new inspiration."

“I’ve written one song for her which is a real track put to a four-by-four beat. It’s like a better version of Leona Lewis’s Collide.”

Talay, 21, is one of the hottest pop scribes on the scene. He’s co-written Jessie J’s next release Who’s Laughing Now and his own next single, the gorgeous Make You Mine, drops on August 29.

Plus Talay has recorded a duet with new X Factor judge Tulisa for his upcoming debut album after becoming mates with N-Dubz while touring with them.

He said: “Tulisa and I recorded a song called When I Go Home before she got The X Factor job.

“I really hope it can be a single but I’m not sure what will happen because of her TV commitments.

“The song sounds like Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks’s No Air and has a Kings Of Leon-style guitar breakdown.

“It’s something very different for Tulisa.”

Christina Aguilera working with Eminem?

It has been reported that Christina Aguilera’s fifth studio album will feature a collaboration with rap superstar Eminem.

The pair, who famously fell out and then made up are thought to be working on the ‘killer’ song, with Christina excited at the prospect of releasing the track as a single.

An insider said: “Christina knows after her last album bombed that she would have to do something special for fans to be interested in her music again.

“It’s a killer track and is bound to be a massive worldwide hit if released as a single, which is exactly what Christina is hoping for. She can’t wait to release the record and prove all her critics wrong”.

It has also been reported that Christina is working with producer William Orbit on the record, which is expected to be released in 2012.

Wiliam Orbit working with Christina Aguilera and Madonna

In Chicago, B96 listeners voted Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” as the best song of last decade. Unfortunately, Christina’s last album Bionic, which many thought was unfairly trashed because of Lady Gaga, Perez Hilton, and others, barely scored a hit in our Windy City. However, this may soon change.

Christina Aguilera has been recording new songs with Madonna’s “Ray of Light” producer William Orbit and Bruce Springsteen’s producer Brendon O’Brien. “She is going to hit a home run with this one and show everybody that you can’t forget what talent means,” says program director Jared Stelling.

Rihanna: "There’s a pack. It’s me, Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce"

In a recent Complex magazine interview, Beyonce stated that there was “room on this earth for many queens.” Rihanna has revealed who exactly runs the world,

“There’s a pack. It’s me, Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyoncé…who else? Ke$ha, for sure. Women are definitely dominating music right now, and that’s because we are competitive beings. I feel like music hasn’t been this exciting in a while.”

Did Rihanna leave anyone out of the ‘Pop Pack’?
