Britney Spears nominated as North American rep at MTV EMAs
Britney Spears could be the best act in the whole world, and could soon have the trophy to prove it.
The international pop superstar is going head to head with four other acts in the newly-announced 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards Worldwide Act category.
Britney is representing North America in the battle while 19-year-old Eurovision Song Contest winner Lena represents Europe, boy band BIGBANG hold it down for Asia, singer Abd EL Fattah Grini covers things for Africa/India/Middle East, and another boy band, Restart, rep Latin America.
Fans can help their favorite act win by logging on to the MTV EMAs official website and casting their vote until November 4.
We’ll see which act reigns supreme when the 2011 MTV EMAs takes place on Sunday, November 6 from the Odyssey Arena in Beltfast, Ireland. The show, being hosted by teen sensation Selena Gomez, will include performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Jessie J, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Colplay, LMFAO, Snow Patrol, and Jason DeRulo.
