New York, NY (April 19, 2011) – Grammy® nominated singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield has announced her upcoming “Less Is More” summer tour presented by Freschetta®. The tour, which kicks off June 5 in Northampton, MA, is in support of her most recent critically acclaimed third studio album, STRIP ME (Epic Records).

Tickets for the “Less is More” tour, visiting 29 cities across the U.S. from June 5 – July 16, will go on sale on April 22 via TicketMaster (www.ticketmaster.com). Special guests on the tour, produced by Live Nation, include multi-talented singer-songwriter and actress Kate Voegele and up and coming new artist Andy Grammer.

Known for creating clever, heartfelt pop anthems, Bedingfield’s “Less Is More” tour will take down the walls and bring Natasha’s fans on an intimate, stripped down musical journey.

“I’m so excited and ready to go back on tour in the U.S. to celebrate this new album,” said Bedingfield. “I always find inspiration in performing for my fans. There’s just something about being on the road and singing my songs live that is refreshing. It reminds me of why this is what I absolutely love.”

Each song on her new album STRIP ME evokes the innate desires, needs and fears which people experience in these most troubling of times. “Weightless”, the infectious new single is a Bedingfield pop gem that reminds us all to cut free of the material things in life, and just be who we are.

While the theme of her music is always soulful, Bedingfield’s gifts as a singer and songwriter continue to reflect that magic spark and infectious pop sensibility that catapulted her to being the first British female artist in twenty years to score a no.1 on the U.S. Billboard pop chart with her smash hit “Unwritten.” Since the release of her massive debut album, UNWRITTEN, in 2006, Natasha Bedingfield has sold more than 10 million singles and albums worldwide. In 2004, “These Words” became her first UK #1 single, and was followed by worldwide smash “Unwritten” which has been certified double platinum, and became the most played track at U.S. pop radio in 2006, garnering the singer-songwriter her first Grammy® nomination for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.” Natasha’s success continued with the release of her sophomore album, POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE which featured the hits “Love Like This” with Sean Kingston and “Pocket Full of Sunshine,” which has sold nearly 3 million copies to date.

“We’re so happy to be working with Natasha on her ‘Less is More’ Tour,” says Mary Brown, Freschetta® Sr. Director of Marketing. “Natasha’s approach to music is always fresh, smart and authentic; these attributes align well with the Freschetta brand’s message and also mirror the values of Natasha’s audiences. We’re thrilled to be associated with an artist of Natasha’s caliber and to support her desire to connect with audiences in a way that feels both exciting and personal.”

Supporting the Natasha Bedingfield “Less is More” summer tour is Kate Voegele (www.katevoegele.com) and Andy Grammer (www.myspace.com/andygrammer). 24-year-old Kate Voegele has shared the stage with the likes of Neil Young, Grace Potter and Patty Griffin, and has received a bounty of praise for her powerhouse vocals and “serious charisma” (Entertainment Weekly). Voegele will release her new album GRAVITY HAPPENS on May 17, which bursts with songs that marry Voegele’s heartland roots with her youthful, modern attitude. She currently stars on the CW show One Tree Hill, after creator Mark Schwahn heard her 2007 critically-acclaimed debut DON’T LOOK AWAY. Grammer, whom Billboard magazine and the New York Post have highlighted as one of ten new artists to watch in 2011 will release his debut album June 14. The one time street performer in Santa Monica’s first single, “Keep Your Head Up,” continues to climb the Top 20 Hot AC chart.
