"I won't tell you yet what the [next single] is, but I will say I haven't been excited about a video like this in a really long time. The relation of the video to my real life as well as my dream of the future is really what makes it so special.

"This video really challenges that idea [of living halfway between fantasy and reality and also celebrates it. It's very exciting.

"I will also say that Yuyi [Gaga's mermaid persona] is in incubation, for anyone who knows what that means. [...] I won't explain it, but all the little monsters who are super super fans will understand what I'm saying if they follow my Twitter. Yuyi may just be born in the next video."

New rumors about Madonna's new single

Our source Superpop, our staff member who broke the news about Madonna's first days in the recording studio on Monday, was now sent some bits of the lyrics from the "Way back home" demo which is in the works at the moment.

Reportedly, the song already sounds great, though it's only just a demo track. Some say it's scheduled to be the first single out of the new album but this can't be confirmed yet, just as we can't confirm that it will actually make the final tracklist of the album. Apparently, the song is not a Diagram Of The Heart production, it may actually be Martin Solveig's.

The song sounds something like Kelis' "Scream", starting off with a piano then turning into a powerful dance track, and its lyrics evoke the ones from Confessions On A Dance Floor's "Let It Will Be":

"I've been in charge so many years,
A above the tears above the fears"

"I've made the rules, I've cut the ropes
While I was dancing, you made your prayer and made your hopes
You thought that I was just a ho's
but finally I found my way back home"

The Black Eyed Peas Take An Indefinite Break

The Black Eyed Peas are always coming up with new ways to wow crowds. This time, though, the surprise was not what fans had hoped for.

At their Alton Towers show in Staffordshire earlier this week, the band announced that they would be taking an 'indefinite break' from making music together. Fergie told the audience that this show is "very special" because it is "last time we're going to be in England for a long time."

The band's frontman tried to soothe fans by saying, "We want you to know that we love you and thank you for the support you've given from the beginning." The band has a history of lengthy sabbaticals, their last one being 2005-2009, and she reassured fans that this 'break' is not a break up. "This isn't going to be the last time you'll see us," she said.

Fergie was not the only one saying they'll be back. Bandmate will.i.am tweeted "The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating."
