Radiohead to Play The King of Limbs on TV
WorldScreen reports that Radiohead will play their new album The King of Limbs in full for an upcoming television broadcast. The BBC will internationally distribute the 55-minute broadcast Radiohead—The King of Limbs: Live From the Basement, which will also feature behind-the-scenes footage. According to a press release from the BBC, it will air on July 1. (Thanks to Craig Hunter for the tip.)
The performance is part of "From the Basement", a series run by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, which features bands playing live in the studio. According to WorldScreen, the "From the Basement" team-- which includes Godrich, creative director Dilly Gent, and Meeting People Is Easy director Grant Gee-- will film and record the band.
