A government official for Mexico just confirmed it on his official twitter:
Translation: "I want to confirm to you all that Britney Spears will be performing on Sunday 4 at 7pm at the Monumento a la Revolución to kick off the Christmas holidays"
Britney will be in Mexico this week to perform 3 concerts plus the free concert which will be broadcasted to the entire country.
