Beyonce and Kelly Rowland to perform at the BET Awards

The BET Awards 2011 keep getting better. For, in what seems to be a case of saving the best until last, the network have just announced that Beyonce will be performing at their 11th annual show.
Though the 29 year old won’t be physically present at the Los Angeles based event, she will no doubt rock the Shrine Auditorium when she performs live via satellite from Glastonbury in the UK.

The ‘Run The World (Girls)‘ singer joins bandmate Kelly Rowland, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, and more on the star-studded performance bill.

Needless to say, the slot will no doubt give a major boast to the release of her ‘4′ LP – which arrives in stores two says later on June 28th.

Kelly Rowland looks set to cap off the phenomenal chart success of ‘Motivation’ with a performance slot on Urban music’s biggest calender night.

After much speculation, it has been confirmed that the 30 year will indeed be taking to the stage at the BET Awards 2011 in Los Angeles next Sunday (June 26th). Reliable sources reveal that the slot will serve as Rowland’s first televised performance of ‘Motivation’.

The singer is among a string of new performers added to the night’s impressive line up. Along with her, Trey Songz and Mary J Blige join the likes of Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, and Drake on the list of those taking to the stage.

We here at That Grape Juice have been hearing the terms ‘career-defining’ and ‘break out moment’ being touted about what the Destiny’s Child diva has planned. Needless to say, next Sunday couldn’t come any sooner.

Kelly’s third studio album ‘Here I Am’ hits stores on July 26th via Universal Motown.
