Ke$ha has admitted that she was "disappointed" at being snubbed in this year's Grammy Award nominations.
Many were surprised when Ke$ha's debut album Animal didn't receive any nominations when they were announced in December, but the singer claims that she isn't too worried.
"I was disappointed that I didn't get nominated," she confirmed to Vanity Fair. "But I've only been around for a year.
"I'm friends with the Black Keys, and they were nominated for the first time this year and they've been around for a decade. That's like half my life, so I really can't be a brat about it.
"I plan on making a lot more records, and hopefully one of them will be Grammy-worthy," she added.
Ke$ha begins her first headlining tour, called 'The Get $leazy Tour', on February 15.

In a room of full of entertainment lawyers and Grammy execs on Friday, Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am offered frank insight and advice on how the music business can better manage its tumultuous relationship with technology.
"Believe me, I love Apple...but iTunes shouldn't be the answer," said Will.IAm in his keynote address at the Grammy Foundation's 13th annual Entertainment Law Initiative Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "[For artists], it should be the scariest thing in the world."
Will.I.am described the plight of the modern musician as "like selling echoes" and pushed the need for young singers and songwriters to become experts in computers science so they may better benefit from a fast-paced marketplace.
Per his recent appointment as Intel's director of creative innovation, Will.I.Am spoke of the need to amp up efforts for tech education.
"We need to inspire kids to take notice of how and why a computer works," he said. "It's the marriage of art and science."
Will.I.Am, who was raised by a single mother in the projects of East L.A., has also been an active philanthropist since his early years in the Black Eyes Peas, a group he co-founded as a teenager with fellow band member Apl.de.Ap when the two were still in high school.
Among many endeavors, his six-year-old Peapod Foundation provides toys and supplies to local orphanages, including a new facility in Watts. He says the work should be an imperative for all musicians who reach his level of success.
"I do it because I want to do it," he said of charity work. "But if you don't use your own money, you don't really have a good reason to be doing it at all."

Thursday night in Los Angeles saw the convergence of some of the biggest voices in music at the Staples Center, as Grammy rehearsals kicked off for the Aretha Franklin tribute. The genre-spanning group included Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, country star Martina McBride and gospel great Yolanda Adams.
The fivesome powered through a medley of Franklin's hits that will open the 53rd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
The Staples Center rafters rattled as the group belted out "Natural Woman," before each diva took on their own Franklin tune. Aguilera went first with "Ain't No Way," McBride was up next with "Until You Come Back to Me," Welch followed with "Think," Jennifer Hudson tackled the iconic "Respect" and Adams rounded things out with "Spirit in the Dark." The ladies all closed with the empowering "Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves."
"Dreamgirl" Hudson and Brit songstress Welch were clearly having a good time onstage, bumping hips and improvising their own two-steps.
Minutes after the rehearsal, Hudson spoke to MTV News about the tribute.
"Rehearsals are going, and went, very well," Hudson said. "It's a lot of fun, and just being amongst the other ladies and being around some of my favorite artists, and then tributing Aretha Franklin, it's just like surreal. And it's a moment you just have to take in and enjoy it, and I'm like on cloud nine just in that moment."
As far as the monumental task of deciding which song to select from the Queen of Soul, the decision, it turns out, wasn't Hudson's problem.
"They were chosen for us," she admitted. "I know that had to be the hardest job because Aretha has like catalogues of music. And I remember when they asked me to submit a list and I'm like, 'Oh my God! Where do I start?' "

Beyonce has been confirmed as a headliner at this year's Glastonbury Festival, which will take place from June 22-26 in South West England. The R&B/pop star, who is currently working with producers like Sean Garrett on her fourth album, will perform a 90-minute set on the final day of the fest.
Beyonce -- who is nominated for two Grammy awards this year -- was last seen on stage supporting her 2008 album, "I Am... Sasha Fierce," during her "I Am... World Tour," which ended last February. Rumors spread earlier this week that the singer would be headlining Glastonbury alongside U2 and Coldplay, although no other performers have been confirmed yet.
"This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend," says Beyonce in a statement. "I'm pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy."
Beyonce was last seen at Glastonbury Festival in 2008, watching her husband, Jay-Z, perform a headlining set. The festival, which expects an audience of 200,000 this year, featured Gorillaz, Muse and Stevie Wonder as headliners last June.

This year the Virgin Media Music Awards were all about the ladies, with pop stars like Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and Kylie Minogue taking top prizes. According to the awards' website, more than 6 million votes were cast by fans in the U.K., taking some of music's fiercest females to the top of the nominee pack.
Minogue took home the prize for Best Album for her 2010 release Aphrodite. She also won Best Single for her track "All the Lovers."
Following her national anthem slip-up at the Super Bowl last weekend, Christina Aguilera was showered with love by fans who named her Best Comeback. Aguilera will have a chance to further redeem herself when she performs at Sunday's Grammy Awards.
Lady Gaga took home the prize for Best Collaboration for her epic dance track "Telephone" featuring fellow diva Beyoncé. The song and video placed second in two categories, Best Single and Best Video. Gaga also placed second in the Best Live Act category. John Lennon won the honor for Legend of the Year, but Gaga came in second, further solidifying her pop icon status.
Muse took home the prize for Best Group and Best Live Act, Marina and the Diamonds nabbed the Best Newcomer trophy and Shakira won Best Solo Female. And while her solo album was received as well stateside, Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed" video nabbed the teen star Best Video.
Brits James Blunt and Pixie Lott were named Hottest Male and Hottest Female. Plan B took home the award for Best Solo Male.

Lady Gaga has partnered with Target to offer fans an exclusive deluxe edition of her new album Born This Way, due out in May. The edition includes three additional studio songs and five remixes and will be available for pre-order at target.com/gaga beginning at 8 a.m. CST on Friday, February 11th through Saturday, February 26th.
