Calvin Harris to work with Kelly Rowlend

Whatever he did to get the featuring credit on “We Found Love,” it was probably the best move of the Scottish DJ’s career—now everyone knows who produced the eight-week chart-topper hit, and he’s certainly bound to be among the most in-demand collaborators of 2012. First up is Kelly Rowland, who has worked out a nice little niche for herself as a disco diva on hit club tracks like David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over” and Alex Gaudino’s “What a Feeling.” Kelly recently confirmed that she was entering the studio with Harris to work on new material, it's not clear if it will be for her unannounced 4th album, or for Calvin’s long-overdue untitled 3rd effort.

Either way, we’re glad to hear about the high-powered collabo, which seems like too natural a pairing to possibly miss the mark. After the excellent 2011′s that both artists had, it should serve as a nice victory lap moment for each—and an absolute shoo-in to top the US Dance charts within seconds of the master tapes being released.
