New Toy-Box album and world tour confirmed for 2012

Known by fans as Aqua’s "biggest copycat", the comparisons between Toy-Box and Aqua were uncanny. The vocals sounded similar, they both released two successful albums, and they both disbanded randomly and without warning. Since Aqua's reunion four years ago, questions began to rise as to whether Toy-Box would see Aqua’s comeback as an opportunity to reunite too. Well, whether or not Aqua’s reunion played a role in Toy-Box’s decision, we are happy to announce that the rumours are indeed true: Toy-Box have confirmed their comeback for 2012!
That’s right, Aneela Mirza has officially revealed that she and Amir will be reuniting in 2012 as the bubblegum duo Toy-Box. In a post on her official blog, Aneela revealed that they have big plans for Toy-Box next year, and will start by releasing their third studio album!
"The entire Toy-Box team is very excited about this new album, and we are working very hard to deliver the best album imaginable. 2012 will unite us with all you wonderful people once again, as we start our World tour."
