Katy Perry is currently in talks with ITV2 for "various shows", according to the channel's controller Zai Bennett.
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Bennett revealed that the 'California Gurls' star - whose guest judging slot on The X Factor was broadcast last night on ITV1 - is "a target" for the entertainment broadcaster.
He said: "Katy is a target for us currently. She's brilliant, a bullseye person. We are talking to her management about various shows."
However, Bennett added that he "very much doubted it would be an observational documentary".
