James Franco has a music project
For all his many (many many) projects, somehow it took James Franco until 2011 to realize he hadn’t done anything that could take over music headlines for a bit, so here is the inevitable end to all of that. Coming soon is a new limited edition 7″ from the dance project titled Kalup & Franco (Facebook profile link!), a collaboration between James and the drag/video artist Kalup Linzy, whom he met during his recent acting stint on General Hospital. Their debut release is out 7/12 via Dutty Artz, a label co-founded by DJ /rupture (he also produces for the duo). EP Song titles: “Rising (Both Sides Now)” and “Turn It Up (So We Can Turn It Out).” Kalup & Franco have a third song called “Fly Away,” and all three of these songs will get videos.

Paris Hilton Working On House Album
Paris Hilton, who’s new tv show The World According to Paris will debut on Wednesday (June 1), recently revealed that she is working on a new house album.
Speaking with reporters, Paris said, “I have a recording studio in my house so any time I have free time I’m writing and working [on new music]. I’ve been working on this album for a really long time because I want it to be perfect. I recently changed the direction of the album. It was more pop before but now I’m getting rid of a lot of songs and going into a different direction with house music, so it will be a lot more dance and club.”
Her last album, Paris, was released in 2006. The album peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Will anyone care about this new album? I am sure there are a few people that will buy it.

Matthew Morrison and Gwyneth Paltrow to duet on his upcoming album
Matthew Morrison and Gwyneth Paltrow have already proven they have great onscreen chemistry as lovestruck teachers Will Schuester and Holly Holliday on Glee. (The actress pops up again on the April 19 episode.)
Now the pair are hoping that energy translates to the recording studio. EW has learned exclusively that Morrison and the Country Strong star will duet on his self-titled adult-contemporary album, scheduled to drop this May 10. Morrison asked Paltrow to sing on the album during her work on Glee, but admits the conversation was slightly awkward.
“The hardest part of doing this album was asking these people favors, like Elton [John] and her,” says the actor. “I’m so not that guy.” Luckily, choosing the song for their collaboration was much easier. The pair will be covering a tune very familiar to Morrison and his Glee fans: the classic “Over the Rainbow.” The actor auditioned for Glee with the song and performed it on the series’ season 1 finale. “People kind of know me for that song now,” says Morrison. “I wanted to do a duet with a female. I thought that was a good song to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it. It’s a lot of strings, and it’s beautiful.”

Justin Bieber rumored to star in "Captain Canuck" movie
Now that a certain masked Canuck is dominating the worldwide box office in 'The Green Hornet,' it looks like another Canadian hero could soon be coming to theaters (and theatres!) near you.
According to a recent report in the L.A. Times, Captain Canuck, the red-and-white protector of the Great White North, may be getting his own movie. Richard Comely, creator of the proudly Canadian superhero, claims to be close to a deal with a Canadian production company -- he didn't say which -- to produce a live-action movie about his cordial crimefighter. At $15 million, the reported budget would come to approximately the cost of craft services for Marvel's $140 million 'Captain America' blockbuster, but Comely is thinking outside the box to boost his Captain's worldwide potential.
Most notably, he's appealing to another Canadian who's made a successful crossover: none other than Justin Bieber, whose signature swoop is likely far more recognizable south of the border than Captain Canuck's red and white.
For those of you unfamiliar with the maple leaf-costumed hero (or for hockey fans who may be confusing him with Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin), Captain Canuck was created in 1975 as Canada's answer to Captain America. Though he's seen various incarnations over his 30-plus years, the original Captain was a mild-mannered Mountie when a mysterious alien encounter granted him superhuman speed and strength. He then became a special agent and put his powers to good use protecting the nation, which, by the then-futuristic 1993 had become the most powerful country in the world.
Had Comely's prediction come true, he wouldn't have to worry about how to attract an American audience to his uniquely Canadian superhero movie. But Comely told the Hollywood Reporter he may have to consider changing the title for the film to have a chance in the U.S. market. Captain North America, perhaps? In another shrewd marketing move, Comely says he's planning on writing in a part for Canada's current largest export, Justin Bieber, whose powers may include a superhuman ability to make tween girls swoon and empty their parents' wallets.
It remains to be seen just how feasible a live-action Captain Canuck movie would be -- with or without the Bieb -- and the property has been optioned for film or TV several times over the years to no avail. Still, with moviegoers' interest in superheroes at an all-time high and Canadians in demand for crimefighter casting, the stars may finally be aligned for Captain Canuck. Is the movie world ready for its first "polite" and "gentler" superhero? We're about to find out... Captain America, you're officially on notice.

Christina Aguilera rumored to play Vicky Vale in "The Dark Knight Rises"
In a recent radio interview with British actor Christian Bale who plays Batman mentioned a possible new member of the third film in the saga, no less than the reporter Vicki Vale, it seems that Vicky is one step ahead of its competitors, but surprise does not stop there, singer Christina Aguilera seems to be more considered for the role because of the great similarity between the singer and the character and natural sensuality comic air, reminiscent of our beloved classic in 1989 Kim Basinger in Batman. Rumors and participation for granted. Vicki is the height of an opponent's Catwoman (Catwoman), reserving the third film in the saga.Source

Cee Lo Is Recording Music With Gwyneth Paltrow
How much did Cee Lo like Gwyneth Paltrow's cover of his song "F**k You" on Glee? This much: "We're actually working on something [together]," he told E! "We've been considering a few things actually. You know, we'll see what pans out. It's a little too early to commit to a statement and I won't ruin the surprise because whatever we're going to do is going to be extra cool ... keep your toes crossed." In fact, Cee Lo says he'd love to appear on Glee himself, but only if things can get significantly less kid-friendly in his episode. "They gotta keep it real with me. If they're ready to go there and get down and dirty, then we got ourselves a deal!"
