Coldplay has announced that their fifth album, Mylo Xyloto, will release in the U.S. on Oct. 25. In a message on their website, the band said the record will be produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green, and Rik Simpson “with enoxification and additional composition by Brian Eno.”
In addition to standard digital, CD, and vinyl release, there will also be a special limited edition Pop-Up Album version, which includes a 12″ x 12″ hard cover book featuring graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, and exclusive photographs, excerpts from the studio diary, and content from the band’s personal notebooks.
Coldplay recently performed some of the new music from Mylo Xyloto at Lollapalooza. They also performed ”Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,” the album’s first single, and another track from the record, “Charlie Brown,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The next single, “Paradise,” is due Sept. 12.
